January 2012 - Kia Optima Press Launch

Fortunately an un-snowy Januaty 2012 worked in our favour as we once again worked with Kia on the UK Press Launch of the new Optima, providing full launch services throughouth the event, including chauffeuring into London for Gala award events

November 2011 - Premises expansion

As of 1st November this year, we will be expanding our Press garage facility with storage for an additional 125 cars and and an additional workshop facility.

October 2011 - New staffing

OTM are pleased to welcome their newest recruit, Ashley Day, who joins us at our Press Garage working on the technical side of the facility.

September 2011 - Expanding our services available

In the ongoing expansion of services to our clients, we have now added Trade Plates to our delivery services, to compliment our single car transporters and availability of open and enclosed lorries covering 2 cars to full articulated lorry loads.

August 2011 - The new Rio Press Launch

Logistics, Valeting, Chauffering, Front of House, Graphics and Printing. Encompassing event services supplied to Kia for the UK Press Launch of the new RIo. And if that wasn't enough, Giant Tortoise rescue services were provided when one slowly left the local zoo and decided to go for a jog on the road.

June 2011 - Our latest recruit

Alice Hayward joined us from Ivybridge Community College for a weeks work experience in Year 10, the second time we have been involved with the work experience scheme, providing her with the opportunity to work hands on in the events industry - including editing this piece.

May 2011 - A busy month

The busy year carries on with the start of the Hyundai County Show Programme and the UK press launch of the Kia Picanto taking place in Bordeaux at the same time, with staff in various locations on these events.

A tough few days for some of the team, planning and creating the road routes for the forthcoming launch of the Kia Picanto. St Emiilion in April in the sun is a terrible place to be!!

After a succesful first three years running the Press Garage facilities for Kia Motors, with increases in fleet usage year on year, the contract has been renewed for a further period, with both client and supplier extrememly happy with the service and facility.

February 2011 - Back to Switzerland

February sees some of our Chauffeurs back in Europe, this time in Geneva, looking after our client and their invited journalists. After care of our clients is paramount, even down to retrieving their lost wallets!

January 2011 - "Gearing" up for 2011

After a snowy end to 2010, literally, OTM are looking forward to another busy coming year, with exhibition units and various events already in the planning stage - A belated Happy New Year to all our clients and suppliers.

December 2010 - "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car"

This month sees the start of filming of the latest Top Gear series, (hopefully on all 4 wheels this year) with OTM once again looking after the cars for the "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car", providing transportation, technical services, valeting and storage throughout the filming series.

November 2010 - You in a "Reasonably Priced Car"

OTM provided technical and valeting services to Kia Marketing for customer and dealer competition winners to drive the Kia Cee'ds used in the Top Gear Series, followed by a high speed trip around the Dunsfold track with "the Stig". See the official Kia video here.

October 2010 - Sportage in Slovakia

OTM supported the phase 3 launch of the new Kia Sportage which took place in Slovakia, utilising the Kia factory, Zilina Airport and a hotel in the High Tatras Mountains, each providing their own logistical issues.

September 2010 - Hyundai County Show Programme

For the third year running, OTM arranged and managed Hyundai UK's annual County Show Programme. And for the third year running, exceeded all targets set by Hyundai for data capture leads throughout the season, even after increased targets.

August 2010 - Westcountry Housing Associations Consultation Unit

Westcountry Housing Association took delivery of their new OTM built and designed v5m exhibition unit.  This was a bespoke build, with customer designed full graphic wrap.  OTM will also be running the unit for them, providing a fully managed service.

July 2010 - Kia Sportage UK Press Launch

The new Kia Sportage was launched to the UK Motoring Press with a one-off event in Central London, including closing roads and heavy duty cranes, followed by a roadshow in four locations.   OTM provided the vehicle logistiscs and valeting for all 5 locations.  See the official Kia video here.

June 2010 - New Single Car Transporter

OTM have taken delivery of their second car trailer. The new single car enclosed trailer adds to the single car open trailer already used on vehicle events. The addition of the enclosed trailer allows us to prepare vehicles and equipment prior to your event, enabling us to turn up ready to go.
